DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Marketing and Communications, this position is responsible for maintaining CHA’s external website, www.thecha.org, and internal Sharepoint-based intranet. This position will also provide feedback on online portals to ITS and business units to ensure a positive user experience.
 
SUMMARY OF PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manages all aspects of the CHA’s website including regular content updates; creates new web pages and redesigns existing pages; maintains quality control through testing and evaluation of web pages; applies updates as needed; and trains and assists staff in uploading content through the CMS.
• Reviews statistics, monitors analytics, and responds to trends; creates and executes search engine optimization (SEO) strategy.
• Leads the agency’s website redesign process and serve as a lead on the agency-wide Customer Service Experience initiative
• Ensures the website meets accessibility standards and advocates for user-based design throughout the organization
• Provides feedback to business units and ITS Department to improve the user experience of online portals
• Develops information strategy for the agency’s SharePoint-based intranet site. Helps departments create SharePoint pages, curate information and train department-level users on maintaining their SharePoint
• Other duties as assigned
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Academic Level: Bachelors
  • Industry Experience: Other industries not listed
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related field, with a minimum of five (5) years transferrable work experience, OR an equivalent four (4) years of combined college education, and a minimum of six (6) years transferrable work experience (in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).

Must have experience improving and managing a website and other digital channels. Managing experience with a large agency website redesign process is preferred. Demonstrates background in working with content management systems, as well as data analytics and SEO.
Working knowledge of SharePoint. Highly skilled interpersonal communicator and influencer, with the ability to effectively liaise with multiple layers of the organization to identify user experience gaps. Strong prioritization and time management skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 - 85,000
